I also walk with my dog in the rain. My dog doesn't protest with me she acts natural and has fun. On the other hand when my mom is dogsitting and theres a downpour she says Gidget doesn't want to go out in it. I saw her "try" the other day and I think I know whats wrong. She sqeals and does nervous Oh mys and runs with the umbrella trying to hold over them both. I'm sure Gidget (my doggie friend)feels like maybe moms seeing a danger she's not seeing.
