This picture displays our blank "eco heather" hoodie before we polish it with our pretty designs. The eco heather hoodie has that vintage soft feel that you crave. It has a flawless fit that drapes your body like a quality garment should.
Our eco-heather apparel is dyed using low impact dyes and low impact dyeing methods. These dyes do NOT contain heavy metals or other known toxic substances. Equally important is the fact that they are NOT petro-chemically based. Low impact dyeing methods use less water when dyeing and rinsing the fabric. 25% of the water used in the dye methods get expelled to a treated waste water discharge. Bio-degradable fabric softeners and natural enzymes are used for finishing this unique garment washing process.
This garment is made from 38% Cotton, of which 7% is Organic Cotton. 50% Poly, of which 7% is Recycled Polyester. And 12% Rayon. All rayon is pure cellulose, a complex carbohydrate formed in the cell wall of plants.
We plant a tree with every purchase of this eco-heather hoodie. In addition, our distributor/manufacturer donates a percentage of their own profits to the following charities.
Wildlife Trust work with local conservation scientists worldwide to protect mother nature and protect our ecosystem and human health. Wildlife Trust pioneered the field of Conservation Medicine, a new discipline that addresses the link between ecological disruption of wildlife, livestock, and human health and survival. Their work includes research into the discovery and causes of disease emergence such as SARS, AIDS, Lyme disease, West Nile virus, Avian Influenza and the deadly Nipah virus. Wildlife Trust is committed to unifying biodiversity conservation, ecology and health by its leadership and strategic role with its bff's, the Consortium for Conservation Medicine and the global Wildlife Trust Alliance. These partnerships allow Wildlife Trust to gain insight into specific issues from disease outbreaks to the protection of wildlife sanctuaries. We think they are doing an important job and are happy to support vendors that support great causes.

The GRN provides forty plus member organizations and others with the technical support and strategic collaboration necessary to address the environmental threats that face the Gulf.
